The JFR Barn was founded 33 years ago with the intention of creating a place that was rustic and reminiscent of the Deep South. To that end, the restaurant was built out of reclaimed wood from barns around the state, but the ambience isn't the only thing old-fashioned about the Barn; the Southern Hospitality is too. The Barn is known for its perfectly aged, slow-cooked Prime Rib, but the Pork Chops and Baby Back Ribs are equally delicious. Seafood is brought in fresh six days a week and the produce which adorns the salad bar is purchased from local farmers whenever possible. The owners have accumulated one of the finest wine lists in the Southeast, with over 600 selections and have received awards from Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast.
