shape'; after 'one of the toughest opening holes anywhere', it's 'a
pleasant walk in the park' with 'just the right amount of challenge to
keep you interested.'" (Course rated "Very Good" - 23 out of 30)
Golf Digest - "There's nothing boring about this fun layout that
is one of the best in Pinehurst. It's an excellent, unassuming course
that is not going for the spectacular add-ons. Here, you get exceptional

this 'unforgettable', 'fantastic course' with many 'hidden
greens and fairways', 'quirky holes', 'untamed woods' and
'well-placed water hazards'; musclemen call the Mike Stranz
creation 'one of the most interesting rides you'll ever have',
but 'punished' putters pout it's a 'crazy circus' where the
'only thing missing is the clowns'" (Course rated "Very Good" -
